Have you ever decided a plan for your life, thought of every detail?

Well, I have too, I remember being fourteen and creating my ten-year plan. I planned to go to college and to continue through college until I had earned my doctorate in education. I planned to get married by twenty-one and having my first two children before I turned thirty.

In college, I studied Early Childhood Education and have two college degrees in it. I have always wanted to do something creative and when I started volunteering at a Therapeutic Riding center with special needs children, I thought I found it, what I wanted to do for the rest of my life! Working with children, help them become the best version of themselves, and I could use my creativity to make learning fun! That was the plan, however, life does not care about any of our plans, does it? Nope so long

story short, that is not how things worked out.

Now, I am a part-time working college student and mom to one beautiful baby boy plus a wife to a wonderful man.

 

My plans have changed, but my passions have not.

I have always loved writing, I remember my teachers always telling me that I should be a writer. I have always written poetry and short stories, I even have a published book of a collection of such things that I wrote in college.

Why Blogging?

I have so much creative energy, I draw, paint, crochet, sew, I have explored a variety of hobbies, but it is never enough to ease my pint up energy. So why not start doing something I love (writing) but this time; instead, of making up fantastical worlds, I write about life, and how different mine has changed since becoming a mom.

Blogging is a very rewarding and extremely flexible activity. It also has the potential to grow into something amazing. Blogging will allow me to express myself and help me keep a journal of my stumbling through parenthood!
